This OCuLink 8x female to MCIO 8x male adapter can be used to connect internal devices, e.g. a backplane with MCIO connector to a controller with OCuLink SFF-8612/SFF-8611 connector.

Also can work for a backplane with SFF-8612/SFF-8611 socket to a controller with MCIO 8x socket.
